And so where do you see then that student experience maybe, I'm not going to say changing, but like the focus on a lot of college campuses, like is there an office right now or just, you know, I'll say maybe a particular group of, you know, people on campus who I'll say aren't getting as much attention right now or like don't get talked about as much that you feel like we're going to need to focus in this area a lot more in the next, you know, two to five years or is it no we're just going to need to continue doing what we're doing across all of campus i

mean i think higher education is evolving so rapidly that i mean i don't know that it's a student group that we're looking at but we're looking at just the future of higher ed with ai with the flexibility of degree programs or certificate programs You know, Governor Abbott here in Texas just last week issued a statement through the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board that he wants all Texas institutions, and I'm generalizing here, to look at three-year degree programs.

And, you know, a decade ago, who would have thought about a three-year degree program? And so is that an opportunity to? get students into the career field faster, start the earnings.

But what is that impact going to be on mental health if it's a three-year degree program? I mean, there are just so many different variables as we look at the future of higher education.

Finally, as early as next year, Texas college students could start earning a degree in three years.

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board is working on a statewide plan for all public universities to offer accelerated 90-credit-hour degree programs.

Governor Greg Abbott says the option would allow students to save thousands of dollars in tuition and living expenses and get into the workforce sooner.

There's high demand for more college educated and trained students to go directly into the workforce.
