Tessa Forshaw

Our embodied selves, as the term is sometimes used, right? If you think about dance and theater performance and presence, right? Our creative selves.

And even, you know, I was talking to my colleague Tessa Forshaw at Harvard, where I'm doing some teaching now, and she was saying that one of the reasons that AI creativity is so meh is because real human creativity comes when two ideas sit farther apart in your synaptic network.

And it's your ability as an individual, highly idiosyncratic, to start making connections and link.

You know, you've ever had that reaction like you read an amazing novel or you listen to a piece of music like Rosalia's Luxe, my favorite music of last year.

So, Yeah, I mean, I think there's much greater awareness of the dangers this time around.

And I will sort of see a response.

And this is, again, where, you know, at Harvard, my aforementioned colleague, Tessa Forshaw, were part of a new effort to create and stand up a new AI and education center called Compass AI at Harvard Graduate School of Ed.

But part of the work there is to surface the best research we today have on these questions regarding AI and learning and developmental psychology and stages for kids.
