I stopped watching it for a lot of years 'cause Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly used to get on my nerves.

So I s- I stopped watching it for years and years, and then we started watching it last year when L'Ivoire was on.

And the only reason why we watched it fa- was for L'Ivoire.

Liquid News finished in 2004.

Then, as now, one of the biggest shows on TV was Strictly Come Dancing, under the much-missed Brucey himself, Sir Bruce Forsyth, with Tess Daly.

Winkleman got a job on the sister show, Strictly Come Dancing It Takes Two.

Literally all my dreams have come true at once.

So my bit of industry news is Strictly Come Dancing was launched on Saturday with its new presenter trio.

So obviously used to be hosted by Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.

They stepped aside last series and then it's now being presented by Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, which is Random and Johannes Radby, which is one of the dancers.

He's an ex Strictly dancer.

I saw episode one.

Tess Daly looks different.

She's changed.

She looks like Josh Whitacombe.

And obviously in a blaze of publicity 'cause it's come back with new presenters.

Instead of Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, we have three presenters, Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and former Strictly professional Johannes Radebe.

At the same time, The Great British Bake Off is back.

Yeah.

Right, which is what Ame- we in America call Dancing with the Stars.

A big change to the, to the format this year, given that the hosts, previously Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, both quit at the end of series 23.

Wow.

Although they do do the celebrity ones now.

Yeah, so the two of them quit.

Previously it'd been Tess Daly and national treasure Bruce Forsyth that, uh, presented it.

But those two have now been replaced by Emma Willis, milk toast comedian extraordinaire Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe, who was previously a dancer.

Well, let's come on to Strictly Come Dancing with Hugh Fergus.

24th series starting Saturday with broadcaster Emma Willis, comedian Josh Widdicombe and former Strictly professional Johannes Radebe making their presenting debut, moving it from Tess Daly and Claudia Winkerman, who left last year, but we need three now.

Yeah, I think that's the big talking point.

Obviously, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkerman were kind of legends in that slot.

Now there's three of them and they're all very competent, very likeable presenters.

I do sort of wonder whether, because, you know, there's three presenters, there's four judges, there's about 50 different dancers and celebrities, everyone asking each other how excited they are all the time.

they? Yeah, Strictly's had an interesting couple of years there between some of the claims of the dancers.

But one of the big changes is that there's no more Tess Daly and Claudia Wilkeman.

So they were the hosts of the show and people did love them together.

Like an all-female duo, they just got on so well.
