And then as much as I am a proponent for higher density, I think in suburban areas, that's appropriate along major roads like March Road, Terry Fox, Campo Drive.
Rob MillanGUEST

or around major transit areas or like in the Kanata Tech Park, I think that would be a great opportunity to build more high density housing, but definitely within existing neighborhoods, I think it should be on a very, very stringent case by case basis whether we approve, because I know there's now the new city bylaw that kind of blanket allows up zoning.

Cathy CurryGUEST

needed to be upgraded we have many more storms much more water coming our way and some of that drainage has not really kept up and just as a very specific example we have a subdivision plan along Terry Fox that has been on hold for 18 years 18 18 years and it's over 3,000 homes and it's because the water they can't figure out the water in the drainage So I feel like other candidates you'll interview will not answer drainage as the number one thing, but it's significant in Kanata.
Cathy CurryGUEST
