It's another video of McConnell's chief of staff, Terry Carmack, who makes, again, over $200,000 refusing to answer questions from independent journalist Nicholas Balzi.

But I want to say one more thing about that editorial that I just showed you that I meant to share again, which is the idea that the people questioning the story about Mitch McConnell are conspiracy theorists.

I don't think that that's true, and I don't think that that's fair.

What I'm reporting is about a broader problem about how broken America's government is that this kind of shit can happen, that multiple Republican members of Congress can disappear for long stretches of time, and nobody in the media and in the Republican Party establishment or in the United States Senate or House seem to care about that.

That seems like a big problem to me.

So I've clipped out about a dozen or so clips showing you staffers, members, clerks, I believe, on the Senate floor and even other senators reminding Senator Mitch McConnell to vote and how to vote.

The chief of staff for Mitch McConnell apparently is seen on video, she says, coaching him to change his vote.

I want to throw a punch and throw down the stairs real bad at this point.

The journalist, Desiree Townsend, who again originally broke this story, also shared another post, sharing this video on June 4, 2026, of Mitch McConnell, And let's look at this caption.

So one thing is very clear to me, and I think it should be very clear to anyone who has been following the Mitch saga, along with myself and many others in independent media, Mitch McConnell's staff are in charge.

Mitch McConnell's staff are running things.

She surfaced social media clips from the June 4th voterama, showing McConnell repeatedly needing assistance to vote.

And in one instance, his chief of staff was seen telling the senator to change his vote Certainly suggests at least a lapse in McConnell's mental capacity.

And we wonder if your chief of staff has to tell you how to vote on the floor and you can't figure that out, at what point are you not really the senator anymore? At what point has the non-delegable function of brain power just been extracted? It's not the first time we've seen McConnell's mind falter.

And then several hours in, he almost sort of shuts down and he needs assistance with voting.
