So it created more problems.
13:52
It was like you're just a typist and you weren't interacting with the patient anymore.
13:57
And that was a really tough thing.
14:00
I mean, people still complain about the electronic health records.
14:03
And the reason why Ambient AI scribes from the point of view of the physician is is meeting success, even though there are change management issues with having to learn how to insert it in your workflow and change a little bit of how you do your work, is that it solves that problem of staring at the keyboard and not at your patient.
14:23
And, you know, me working in the emergency department, I glean a ton of information From walking in the room and talking to the patient and seeing how they're sitting, what their face looks like, how they're interacting with others in the room, I gather a lot of information.
14:37
But if your face is in the keyboard, you don't get that.

4:38
So with that said, please, Terry, tell me about yourself.
4:42
Yes.
4:42
Thank you, Talisa, and thank you for inviting me to be on this podcast.
4:46
It's a really critical service, I believe.
4:49

4:55

5:00

because at some point in time either you may be the one who may be at the doctor's office and may need an advocate and may be looking at the type of insurance you have and coming up with a game plan or you may be that person that will be the advocate for a loved one or a caregiver for the loved one having to take that seat as well so the next part of your book after we get through the insurance what's the next step that you would like to highlight I do talk about
5:34
Could you speak about, uh, some of the specific things that, that, you know, people should be aware of, uh, you know, from your res- your perspective? It's like one of the reasons I love having this, this platform is for when, for someone like you who comes on, you, you can actually send some really, uh, clear messages out there so that people that may not be paying attention- Have some idea what they should be doing and how to lean in and maybe ho- push, push the, an influence, uh, in the, in the right direction.
6:02
Well, I think there's, uh, kind of could look at it in two ways.
6:06
There is what individuals need to do, and then there is actually three.
6:12
There's what we need to be doing nationally regard to the federal environment.
6:17
Um, there is stuff being done on the state level.
6:20
And then there's what the industry should be looking out for.
6:24
I think there, with technology in of itself is not ethical or unethical, but how we use it brings up the issues of ethics.
