Terror Twilight

First picking up that guitar in junior high and high school and discovering the Pixies, discovering Pavement.

I mean, I was obsessed with Pavement and bought Bright in the Corners when it came out and bought Terror Twilight and listened to it obsessively as it came out and then went through all the back catalog of everything.

And I talked to Scott a little bit about it, but they were just such a just such a watershed, influential band and have broken my brain many times over and continue to.

So it's been really fun to get to know Scott and, you know, play those shows with them.

He went on to co-produce OK Computer, beginning a collaboration that continued through the band's increasingly adventurous subsequent records, including Kid A, Amnesiac, Hail to the Thief, In Rainbows, The King of Limbs, and A Moon Shaped Pool.

He also produced Beck's Mutations and Sea Change, Pavement's Terror Twilight, and Paul McCartney's Chaos and Creation in the Backyard, and is a musician himself too, in Atoms for Peace with Thom Yorke, and in the trio Ultra Ista with Laura Bettinson and Joy Waronker.

He has a new record with Danny Harrison titled Dragonflies, which was released September 18th, 2026.

The first word Godrich chose as being formative for him was, I am the walrus by the Beatles.

Love the way you're peeling back layers for me on artifacts I've spent my life with.

I made a cover version of Terror Twilight here.

You can get my LP on Bandcamp.

Would be stoked if you liked it enough to play a snippet when the Twilight era comes around.
