Territorial Cup Series

All of a sudden things shift.

And so you have week 13 going forward, it's gonna be massive because, like, the Territorial Cup will probably be maybe for a playoff spot.

And you know, Minnesota, Wisconsin might be for a playoff.

And you're gonna have all these fan bases that are in it, and you're gonna have one weekend in mid-December that's just gonna be a fun game of home games.

Home against the team that we're, everybody's gonna start to back now, Oklahoma State, who's undefeated in conference play and 4-1 on the year.

And then, of course, the big game, the Territorial Cup, that time in Tucson.

You win against Texas Tech, you've set yourself up on a runway to just kind of rip through.

I'm not saying they're going to do that, but if they are going to find themselves back in the Big 12 Conference champion conversation, conversation, they need to win this game.

Yeah, that's a tough game.

Uh, then you, you, you throw in the, the Territorial Cup at the end of the season.

It's a rivalry game.

Anything can happen.

Um, since you mentioned Pitt, I gotta ask you, how does the Backyard Brawl compare to the Territorial Cup? 'Cause you had six very intense years against Arizona State.

I did, and, you know, people talk about rivals, and they always talked about, you know, Michigan-Ohio State or maybe Pitt-West Virginia.

But Arizona-Arizona State's- Pretty intense rivalry too.

Like, I thought BYU scared me, Texas Tech scared me, and then I had a, a sort of wildcard game.

I was sort of leaving it leaning towards the Kansas State game in Manhattan end of November before the Territorial Cup.

Like, maybe that's a trap game or that gets them.

But now that we're in the season, this West Virginia game scares me a little bit more-
