You were the one, you and I were the ones that first turned me on to that movie, but Elliot's in Terrifier 2 and Terrifier 3.

So I handled him on and we talked about that record because he's much, much younger than we are, but that was by far his favorite record.

And he was like, we have to talk about this record.

Sometimes it's movie club, which I think we're probably gonna do.

I actually thought, 'cause we're already doing Terrifier 2 for you to have to watch along, I thought that might actually be a good After Nine-

I have to watch both, or do I not have to watch the first?

Terrifier 2, which is like, for me, I view that even closer to like a comedy in terms of you have set pieces.

Like, Terrifier 2 has set pieces that the movie's sort of d- moving towards that-

So, but combined in this many elements does make it feel bloated and trimming down would help it to run tighter.

So the runtime exceeds two hours, a length that even movies like Terrifier 2 and 3 struggle to sustain for me.

It ultimately falls to maintain its intensity.

While blending folklore and slasher genres effectively creates a paranoid atmosphere, no one outside of the friend group can be trusted and tighter editing would greatly benefit a lot of what they were setting up.

If you spoiled it on GV Day, you'd seen what I'd say is one of the most, if not the most, or the worst scene from Terrifier 1.

So what we're going to do is you're going to watch a little recap for Terrifier 1, and we're going to watch Terrifier 2 instead.

How do you feel about Terrifier 3? I haven't seen it, so I don't have an opinion.

And it just has like a huge audience that surprised nobody.

Now, when Terrifier 2 gets made and Terrifier 3 gets made, each one has a bigger budget and you get to lean more and more into it.

So, you know, hang in there man they're trying to do the long game here they're playing the long game they want you you know they're giving you john's origin they're grounding it in earth they're they're building their fan base they're using this true detective kind of template to to pull in people who might not want to watch Another Star Wars, you know, especially with how Star Wars has been.
