Terrell Suggs

Uh, Nick Markakis really, uh, jumped out to me.

You know, if you wanna go to the Ravens, I can think of Ed Reed and Terrell Suggs.

But that was at such a different level that I've never seen before for, for a player coming back.

And, and I guess circumstances maybe play- played a factor for sure.

Uh, to have a 30% pressure rate when you are suspectly being held very often, uh, is, is, is, that's making a major impact.

And, um, I thought you saw a lot of plays made in the second half by Trey Hendrickson, and particularly on high leverage downs, and that's the impact that the Baltimore Ravens have not had since they had someone like Terrell Suggs.

Like we're going back to that far.

It's been that long since they've had that edge rusher, that, that true difference maker.

That was worth my attention.

Like, if I sussed out you were Terrell Suggs, then good.

I'm glad you got my attention because otherwise I wouldn't have recognized you.

I would have accepted that as well because I would then say, He lived in this subculture of people where that was the norm, and he now presents as such.

it just, like, I, I remember one time, man, and we were playing Baltimore, and T. Suggs literally had him dead to rights wrapped up, and T. Suggs is actually, you know, T. Suggs is a big man.

Like, meaning Terrell Suggs, that is.

AKA T. Sizzle.

He literally had, he quite literally had him wrapped up, and I watched Ben somehow turn into Gumby.

Like, he, he, his body just went limp, and T. Suggs slid down his leg, and he picked his leg up out of T. Sizzle's arms and, like, scrambled out, and I'm like, "Only one man in the league could do that." I mean, and Ben is not like a, he's not a, a wiry guy, you know what I mean? He's not like a Lamar Jackson frame or one of those skinny guys who can give you a little bit.

Like, he's a thick boy.

He's a thick country boy, and so he just had that knack of being able to take a s- like, feel a sack, and then get out of it, stiff arm or whatever.

Now it's the Ravens with Steve McNair, okay, his first year.

It's Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs, all of them, so they're thinking Super Bowl.

We are playing Rex Ryan and, you know, his defense, right? So they got it all.

We are gonna run the game from the line of scrimmage.
