It's regarded as the scariest flight on the planet and, you know, Lukla Airport has been voted one of the most dangerous airports on the planet.

[laughs] It's a really short runway.

[laughs] Really short.

The peaceful scene is only punctured by faint but persistent buzzing sounds.

A tiny passenger plane hovers into view before dropping down abruptly to land at Lukla's Tenzing-Hillary Airport.

Aboard the Yeti Airlines Twin Otter airplane, 36-year-old Brian Dickinson exhales, relieved.

That was an interesting landing.

This 500-meter strip of tarmac is too short for conventional aircraft.

Tenzing-Hillary Airport, carved into the mountains with soaring peaks on every side and a runway that appears to plunge off a cliff, has the unenviable title of the most dangerous airport in the world.

But with the plane landing safely, the first stage of Brian's adventure is ticked off the list.

[footsteps] Minutes later, he steps down from the aircraft and lifts his head to admire the glorious Himalayas all around him.

It's infuriating.

I mean, isn't there a bill in Hillary Airport somewhere? Isn't the Little Rock Airport named for Bill Clinton? But John Kennedy isn't referring to that.

He's trying to smack Trump around.

It's a backhanded attack on President Trump.
