DanHOST
[laughs]
SulHOST
Uh, so next up, you could've been playing Tenchu: Stealth Assassins.
DanHOST
That's good.
DanHOST
Really, really good.
DanHOST
I'd like to play that again, actually
MarkHOST
...
MarkHOST
I, I miss these, but there is a game coming out, isn't there, that's like, either it is Tenchu or it's-
DanHOST
I think, yeah.
SethHOST
So...
SethHOST
Now, if only they'll make fucking Tenchu and not...
SethHOST
I mean, make Sekiro as well.
SethHOST
I know people love Sekiro, but I want a legitimate Tenchu game.
SethHOST
I know originally Sekiro was supposed to be...
SethHOST
I believe I had read it was supposed to be a Tenchu game, but then they turned it into what it is now.
SethHOST
But they own the property, Tenchu, and I would love them to bring that back too and see what they could do with a stealth game.
SethHOST
That'd be sick.
TrevorHOST
up there forever.
TrevorHOST
Yeah, so gaming dads, if you have any advice for a new dad finally getting a PS5, recommendations or settings or games or anything else like that, reach out to us at newdadgaming, newdadgaming.com. Now, man, don't call it a throwback or a comeback as far as like you having a certain desire to get back into Tenchu.
TrevorHOST
But it seems like you got a bit of a modern fix on it with a game you've been playing recently.
JeffHOST
Yeah, I don't know about anybody listening to the show, but I absolutely adored Tenchu back in the day.
JeffHOST
For anyone that doesn't know, it's like a ninja stealth game.
JeffHOST
And it was just something that piqued my interest recently.
JeffHOST
I'm like, you know what? I kind of feel like playing that role again.
JeffHOST
And instead of going back to Tenchu, because I was considering that... and somehow emulating it somewhere.
Diamond FeitHOST
Uh, again, look at his Twitter bio.
Diamond FeitHOST
He's very proud of his work on KOF '94 and the Tenchu series, so.
Will CuevasPANELIST
Yeah, all, all these guys listed other than Nishiyama, they, like a- as Diamond pointed out, they were, they were young.
Will CuevasPANELIST
They were, like, 25 or younger, uh, according to, uh, uh, KOF: The Ultimate Hi- uh, History.
Brad EllisHOST
Never came back.
Chris RaygunGUEST
I mean, Sekiro feels like a spiritual Tenchu game.
Chris RaygunGUEST
Yeah, it kind of is.
Chris RaygunGUEST
But that was seven years ago.
speaker_4SOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
Yeah, I'll admit that PlayStation improved.
speaker_4SOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
Come visit feudal Japan with me and Tenchu.
speaker_4SOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
Bushido We'll be right back.
Chris AntistaHOST
Down with Zelda from the very start I got the heart, it's smart to play the part Down with Zelda Creepin' through with an overhead view Cause a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do So I stay on track, collect the facts Never cut slack and I always watch my back for Jack Down with Zelda, yeah Strong I stand, I'm the man with the plan Cause the power's in my head and the power's in my hands Down with Zelda We'll be right back.
