How long since you've been a superintendent?

Well, actually, I was a superintendent in 2026, and then I did an interim superintendency in Templeton.

So are you seeing a change?

Oh, yes.

so he was just simply slipped right in.

He had been as- associate superintendent before, and not only that, he had been a superintendent at Templeton, so I personally know him.

Yeah.

You're a Santa Barbara native, so this is home for you basically, and you're here for the Templeton Tournament, which this year is a W100, right?

Yes.

Yes.

Yeah.

I love playing in Templeton.

It definitely feels like my home tournament.

They, there's a c- always a cute thing after our wonderful concert at Sarah Chapel up in Shandon with the Clark family.

Those musicians afterwards, the post-concert- Dinner is at the In-N-Out there in, in Atascadero, Templeton.

The doubles final is on Saturday, and the singles final is on Sunday, but there's a lot of good tennis to be had all morning long.

If you're smart with it, you know, you get to save and... and all that, but yeah, nothing like nowadays.

What are your favorite locations? And you don't have to say Templeton, because we already know you love it here, but what are the places that you played? As a pro, not in college, who are some that you know you're always going to go back to that tournament?

I like playing in Brazil, actually.

I find it really hard to believe that two players, your number one and your number two singles players are gonna look at a second singles match in a day and say, I can't do it.

That those are the type of players that are gonna show up day after day after day in the most stressful environment in the most unideal conditions like for as amazing of a tournament duke had and the breakout run that mimi shu had You could just not be the host tournament and pull this shit.

And what'd you do? Have a plane to catch back from Cary to Durham? You have a Friday afternoon class to catch? Like class isn't that important this week for Irina Boulos in Templeton, California.
