Well, so we only, at this moment in time, we've actually only one proper detention suite in Tipperary, which is based in, which is in the station in Templemore.

So in that, you'd have extra cells, you'd have a juvenile detention cell, which have to be different to what you'd have for normal prisoners.

you have a proper room for searching prisoners and a proper area for checking in prisoners.

It's like, does Templemore prepare you for the job? Not really.

Does it prepare you at all and get you ready in the right mindset? Yeah, definitely a mindset shift.

So I do think it's everything to do with motorized, powered vehicles, and it's where education comes in.

It's about enforcement of regulations that are, the existing ones that are there, and I just don't think we have the Garda resources to do that, and that's actually restrained by Templemore not having more capacity to do that, and government have been aware of that for the last 20 years, and nothing has been done about it.

So we can talk about it a- as much as we like, but we just know the Garda resources are there, and I know C- Commissioner Kelly is, is very keen for it, but even he has mentioned that it's going to be very hard to get insurance for these scooters as well.

We don't even know how many we have in the country at this stage as well.

We're not getting them through fast enough.

The capacity definitely in Templemore needs to be increased.

to allow the staff there to get higher numbers through but we're just not getting them in quick enough and not getting the amounts that the government are targeting every year with this magical figure they roll out every year that is never reached.

And you know, that whole discussion on, you know, having some kind of a second campus for training Gardaí outside of Templemore, needless to say, locally, it's a huge issue.

But what about the GRA looking at that and saying, would there be a possibility then of training more Gardaí quicker? Is that a conversation that needs to be had, Richie?

The government have kind of mentioned this a few times, would we look at a second campus? They've trotted this out a few times, but it's never really materialised.

Duggan

Brothers have a long history in Templemore.

They were established over 100 years ago.

They're a third-generation family company currently being led by Seamus and David Duggan.

So in the last number of years, we're getting back down to country, we've had projects in Mount Melick, We have one in Portlaoise, we had Wexford, Waterford, Dremol and Castle were in now as well.

So we're fairly well established around the country.

So that, I suppose your question about how many are from Tipperary, it would have been reduced from where it was, but our head office is in Templemore, probably 25 people working directly out of there, site teams would be another 25 that would be from Tipperary.

After completing his rigorous tactical and physical training at the Garda College in Templemore, County Tipperary, Murray was deployed directly to the front lines of North Dublin.

It didn't take long for Declan Murray to prove that when chaos erupted, he was the officer who charged straight into the fire.

In a formal ceremony before the top brass of the force, the Minister for Justice, Ray Burke, presented Garda Murray with his first Scott Bronze Medal.

Getting more guards through Templemore, I think, is key.
