Tempest 2000

Which is a very expensive original game.

You can buy Tempest 2000, which I think the Space Shooter 2000 was a kind of play on Tempest 2000.

I think so, yeah.

Not only kind of the vibe of the gameplay, but also the naming convention.

Mm.

You get a second copy, you get a second controller and a choice of either the Tempest 2000 or Wolfenstein 3D free by mail.

To get in on the offer, all you have to do is send in the coupon for the free game and controller that is available when you purchase your Jaguar system, and Atari will send you back the game you selected and the free controller in four to six weeks.

Controller and game offer is at $85 and value you won't want to miss.

Um, Jag doing this is a way of Atari getting people to kind of buy into it.

You know, you pick up Cybermorph.

Well, guess what? Six weeks later you get either Tempest 2000, which probably would be the choice, or Wolfenstein 3D, which looking a little bit old even by then.

It'd been supplanted by Doom.
