I just wanted to pause this episode here to jump in from the future and mention something that I completely forgot about during the recording but another thing I'm doing this month is a 5k walk slash roll slash run as a part of lgmd awareness's initiative to raise some lgmd awareness this month and it's cure lgmd r9 uk's first ever event and my mum the chair of this charity has been working so so hard not just on the charity itself but on this event it's happening in Telford in England and there's going to be quite a few of us there and I'm sure there'll be lots of content around that event as well but that's happening on the 19th of September and I'm really really excited to bring some of the lgmdr9 community together And also see all this hard work that my mum has put into this come to fruition.

So that's all we've got planned for the charity at the moment.

But once we become official, I'm sure that I'll have a lot more updates for you guys from me and our other trustees.

So, loads to be proud of, loads of positives, but ultimately we've got to take those little details, those little moments that I keep talking about in pre-season, we've got to take them and put them right on the pitch, otherwise it's going to keep costing us.

The next one is another good move for number 22, Lewis Conroy.

So last season was obviously on the two-way with MK Thunder and got a decent return there, getting eight points, not looking out of place at all in his first senior hockey season.

Now he's made another step with being on a two-way with the Telford Tigers 2 in the NIHL Morley in the north.

And David, you touched upon it first of all.

Obviously, you came up, played college a bit in Canada and then played over in Europe before coming to Telford.

So how did that journey come about? So being in Poland and then going from a...

I think both of Jared said playing over in Sweden, Jared White said about not being able to speak the language and coming back to an English-speaking country was one of the setting points.

Was that something that sort of turned you for going to Shropshire?

Yeah, I think, you know, me and obviously Eric Henderson, who's on Telford still, you know, we played together in Huntsville.

I had signed in the Polish League that year, and my coach was asking me for a winger, so I mentioned Eric.

We both went over together, and it just wasn't a good situation.
