One thing that I am, yeah, working through, not just in what I research and what I am kind of writing about, is to expand my palette, my literary palette, so beyond the kind of E- um, Euro-American framework.

Uh, like I am not just reading people like Zora Neale Hurston or Octavia Butler, but Ta-Nehisi, Teju Cole, Binyavanga Wainaina, and really thinking beyond the, the kind of, um, canon.

At the same time, I still read the canon.
