But was food a big part of your family growing up and then suddenly was it taken away by your eating disorder?
7:21
Yeah, 100%.

I think we were all just big foodies and I think my poppy, for example, he loved cooking and I used to love going over to there because he would always make a massive feast or would cook me lunch when I would drop over after training and I think – For me, it was just something that I just loved.

And I was always like, oh, I want to try this cafe or try that food.

And then when I got into that kind of elite pathway, probably like 17, and I guess got exposed, I guess, to all these amazing athletes.
7:45
And I think for me, it was probably insecure at that age and in my body and I guess my abilities, then it did become something that got taken away.
7:54
And I just became, I guess... over controlling and over obsessed with it like I was so scared to go out and eat with my friends because I didn't know what food they were going to eat or I'd be scared for mum to plate up my dinner because I didn't know what was in it and I think it just became all of a sudden something that wasn't fun and it used to be fun and I just feel like it took over and I was so under fueled.
