I don't think it resonated with anything that they were hoping for.

And they tried, I think they put it, they gave it to Ted T, which was a popular remixer guy.

He was always doing all the Rebecca St. James remixes.

And so they put my song with him.

i mean i agree 100 and i i think even god knows he's a little weird too let's be honest like what he wrote down there is meant to be his his word right so

even he knows

he's a little weird and but you know it's okay weirdness is not a bad thing it can be but it's not a bad thing and it can be appreciated too but

yeah he's definitely other he's other and we're we are um we only know about him from what he's revealed so yeah it's i find it to be very very interesting and very exciting to get to be in his story And constantly just bringing myself to the place of I'm going to believe you because you said it.

Yeah, come.

So their producers, Ted T, Matt Hales, I'm forgetting some names, but the band, all the people that were involved in the making of the record all went up.

So we had a big crew up there, probably 10 of us.

And that was a fun moment.

If you look at that Joel's interview, there's some very vulnerable moments in there from both of us.

And he said to me...

Started talking to me about the impact I'd had on his life and teaching him production, writing some of those first songs, producing records together, being in his wedding party and all these things.

And then when I told him the story of Stacey kind of making me go to this event, and say hello and tell them what I thought was, uh, you know, quite moving for both of us.

Um, so over the next few years, I started getting more and more calls, and I started getting calls to work on some of the icons that I'd grown up with.

And I'm like, "Wow, what's going on here?" So I get a call from Ted T.

He's working on a band called Mutemath.

I work a little bit on that.

So even though it was a technical job, and I remember saying to my pastor one time, "Look, I'm just, I, I'm like a computer nerd.
