How does one jump bridge that gap from beating themselves up to actively pursuing improvement, whether it is with a professional or, you know, through the perspective of their friends and so on.

Yeah.

Speaking as someone who really struggled in that area for a long time and While also not realizing it, I didn't realize just how critical I was of myself and how much I kind of beat myself up in my own head.

You know, I realized after the fact that it made perfect sense why I attracted someone who berated me all the time because I did the exact same thing in my head.

So I attracted someone who treated me like I treated myself.

So in my experience of kind of shifting beyond that, one of the things that I have loved hearing lately is like when it comes to love, whether loving someone else or loving yourself, there's an element of love that is a feeling that you can feel.

But there's also an element of love that comes with action.

And I thought that that might mean

So, uh, I graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario with a philosophy degree, economics background, and moved here to start writing.

Um, didn't know what, but, uh, I came across a group called Hempology 101 in Vancouver that did education about hemp and cannabis.

And actually I'm a seven generation farmer on both sides.

Yeah.

How do you engage someone, a new member?

Well, there's a first, a little form that they fill out, um, you know, just some simple things that they agree to.

And, uh, but, uh, and, and then we give them a verbal introduction to our club.

Um, We've got a lot of options to smoking cannabis, six kinds of suppositories, all these things.

So we typically take patients through everything we got in the toolbox here, whether we think they're going to use it today or not.

And then...

Once we've done that, if they want some extra time trying to figure out where to start, typically for most patients coming in here, it's an experiment.

Five years, what do you hope for the cannabis community? What's five years from now?

That's what CBD does.

And along those lines, when we were investigating into that, one of the other and even the most significant change I should have started with was last summer.

We really changed almost our mandate, our function in that we've now hired pharmacists and added... new component to our sign-up procedure in that our local pharmacist here now vets every new member and looks up their profile to see what other drugs they're being prescribed to see if there's any potential drug interactions.

and so wonderful once we you know do the initial intake he looks up their information we have we get a new page for every new patient on a risk assessment and you know if it's a high risk at all and we contact them and and have a phone call or he will contact them immediately we haven't had a case of that yet yeah but it's it's really wonderful to to both have reassurance that I've got a medical professional looking into potential drug interactions because we have so many elderly patients coming in here that are taking, you know, all sorts of other medications and things and, you know, they're often looking for CBD in particular, which ironically is more sort of, you know, tricky than THC in this aspect.

So, yeah, so it's wonderful to have that back up.

But it's also really important for us to have third-party professional medical oversight in the gatekeeper role.

I think they're all influencing each other.

I think we have a moment in time right now where the general belief is that both institutional and retail investors are excited about these types of stories, despite significant losses by these companies.

Obviously, it appears that SpaceX is gonna get out m-more quickly than the other two over the course of the next couple of weeks.

But the relative timing between OpenAI and Anthropic is yet to be determined.
