Technocrane

It was about an hour out of town, or out of the center of town, and this was gonna be our casino on this island, and again, that was like, w- really? Are you gonna do that? So the exterior was shot on the tank in, uh, Pinewood, the exterior tank, and I remember the night we were shooting, it was so cold that the ground, the water around the tank just on the ground completely froze.

We were shooting everything on a 100-foot Technocrane that had just arrived in the UK.

I don't think it had been used, and it was great 'cause we could basically shoot almost every shot of those exteriors off this one crane on this big platform that the grips put up.

But yeah, yeah, then you go from that.

My son, Ben, has done a lot of behind the scenes for me where I'm purposefully teaching.

So if it's a teachable moment and I'm saying to the camera, like there was one on the Jimmy Jib, like they wanted it to, everyone said Technocrane.

I said, Jimmy Jib, it's smaller and faster and quicker.

And the technically was overkill.
