So now I became a DJ and it's very exciting because one time I came into this record shop and I was just looking to the vinyls.

I actually wanted to pop, but I saw the DJ section, and I just started looking through the crates, and I found this one, and so I started listening to it, and it just made me really love trance, made me wanna do it more, and I basically just went and bought the Technics 1200s, Since then I've been uploading mixes on YouTube and stuff, so it's been really fun and it's just very special to me.

When was the first time you heard this track? In 99 or just straight up?

No, maybe like a year ago.

And I said, what kind of turntable you had? And I was just praying, oh dear God, let it not be something with a handle or made of plastic.

She said, oh yeah, I just got a brand new Technics SL 1200.

I'm like, oh my God.

Really? What kind of stylus? Oh, it's an Ortofon.

Yep.

Uh, I mean, honestly, you know, without sounding like, uh, [laughs] I'm going through every kind of brand, but yeah, we've worked with a lot of CE brands over the years.

So I had the, I had the Technics turntable.

They had some bullshit turntable with, didn't have a pitch wheel, I don't think.

Didn't have a slider So I brought my turntable down with the slider and I left it there, and I bought a mixer 'cause I could write it off.

So I've got, as you know, I've got Technics at home.

I've got the turntables.

I've got Lux.

Definitely not.

He used a commercial electronic keyboard, specifically a Technics brand keyboard, and he would just engage the pre-programmed automatic backing beats.
