So that's where I'm at with it.

cool so for story setup with marvel's wolverine starting off the top i think that uh this is set three years after wolverine's departure from the mutant strike force team x logan rejoins the group to investigate an abduction of mutants by billionaire scientist slash industrialist bolivar trask and his cyberpunk militia the reavers i believe it's a private militia i don't know if it's his private militia but he's outfitting them if i'm not mistaken the reavers they're like their own thing but Okay.

God, he's giving them weapons and cybernetic upgrades, all that fun stuff.

Uh, so this sets off a series of most unfortunate events.

I think like when you're making games like this, and again, this could not matter and this claim could be completely pointless and I'm just talking to myself at this point.

But like if you're making an interconnected universe, I feel like you should have some type of like feeling.

Like for example, like Ghost of Yotei and Ghost of Tsushima, feel like they exist in the same universe because it's in japan and like of course like they're sharing very similar vibes very similar settings yeah not similar time periods and stuff like that but it's very different places right whereas like here in wolverine like even when he's in like canada or like the american part of like the area that he's in like like when he goes to um like the wilderness wherever team x is hidden out at like that's like it just doesn't seem like it's a place that exists in the same universe as a marvel spider-man so I can't really explain it very well this is just my perspective but I do think that for a game that is kind of like largely art direction wise very similar to how we expect like the models from Spider-Man look like the buildings and the architecture and the you know of the environments it is seems kind of like a weird disparity Maybe

I can see him, because I guess it's very similar to how Spidey, you know, zips around, goes up, so there's plenty of verticality.

but he's in the Mutant X program.

Uh, they call it Team X in the-

in the game.

Spider-Man, and tells an original self-contained story that shares some continuity with Insomniac's other Marvel games.

This one obviously following Logan, Wolverine, this, you know... amnesiac mutant who basically is rejoining Team X, you know, his former team, to investigate and check out the abduction of other mutants by Bolivar Trask and the Reavers, while also kind of searching for answers about his own past and, like, you know, because he can't remember anything.

So...

That's kind of like the basic gist storyline of Wolverine.
