Do you remember Teaching Mrs. Tingle? That was his first movie.

It was in the theater.

No, I th- th- this is the first time my ears are hearing the phrase Teaching Mrs. Tingle.

We may have to, that could be next week's episode if we, if we don't do the li- we'll watch Teaching Mrs. Tingle.

A star-studded cast.

It's a teen black comedy thriller film, 1999, the best movie year ever most people say, starring Helen Mirren.

Oh, I would, I would love this.

Actually, this could have been his directorial debut, but he turned it down in favor of the film that that would become his directorial debut.

1999's Teaching Mrs. Tingle, which I have not seen.

It's kind of a comedy horror thing, much as you kind of as you would kind of expect from Kevin Williamson.

Kevin Williamson has only ever directed one other movie, and it was, in fact, Scream 7 earlier this year.

And this week, we have a very special guest with us.

You'll know her from Teaching Mrs. Tingle, the ill-fated...

Oh, that's a good question.

I mean, there were definitely moments around that teaching Mrs. Tingle wasteland era that the Miramax machine was so gigantic and it was really like they were going full throttle on those that I would just be driving along the road and like a bus would go by with my face on it and then I'd stop at the stoplight and a billboard would be up there with my face on it and Those are weird moments.

Of course, as you know, teaching Mrs. Tingle didn't do well and then Wasteland didn't do well.

I mean, can you really blame her, though? In the last three movies, the best thing we got from Gale Weathers was that scene with her breaking down after Dewey dies in Scream 5.

Her character is shoehorned into the previous two films at best, making the audience question why she was even there.

Compare that to her performance in Scream 2, where she's an integral part of the investigation and maybe has some of the most iconic character moments of the entire series there.

She works with Dewey to find clues that result in one of the best chase scenes in franchise history.
