So Dr. Flick is the Division Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Advanced GYN Surgery at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and the Medical Director of the University Hospitals Fertility Center.

She is also a Professor of Reproductive Biology at Case Western University.

Dr. Coyne is a faculty member in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility at University Hospital and serves as the Director of Fertility Preservation for UH's Fertility Center.

IME is indirect medical education.

That is additional Medicare funding meant to account for the higher patient care costs associated with teaching hospitals, more complex patients, more resource use, and the inefficiencies that come with training.

So most of the money from CMS is actually designated as IME.

A key caveat is that Medicare is not cutting a check directly to residents.

In a few days, everyone, Renee and I, we're going to be boarding a plane to Ghana with our boys.

We'll be at KNUST University Hospital in Kumasi.

That is Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

And we're going to be there for two weeks for our yearly international health care volunteers medical humanitarian trip.

We've been doing it for 14, 15 years.

Normally when we go, we're based at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, K-N-U-S-T.

And there's a little small hospital there called the University Hospital, which is mainly there to take care of all the staff, all the students, everybody who works at that university.

That hospital is there for them.
