Levitt now two to four TDI and T ratio, whereas Chambliss – It's 5-1, and I know it was a different regime, and that coach is on the opposite sideline, but the Rebels' last four as a home underdog, 4-0 against the spread with three outright wins, and they've won 13 in a row at home, 23 of their last 24, and they're 32-3 straight up in their last 35 home games.

I think all the emotional stuff is advantage Ole Miss, and I like the Rebels.

So having thrown those trends out that you did about their last X amount of home games and blah, blah, blah, does it matter that the dude coaching that team is on the other side this week? Wait, say that again, that the – so all those trends you had in the you know they won 23 home games whatever yeah well pete wasn't a head coach the guy on the other side was their head coach

Oh, memory foam, flexible polyurethane foam, and the high resilience cores supporting your spine are petrochemical derivatives.

Producing a slab of foam requires a precise volatile chemical ballet between two primary ingredients, polyols and and diacinates, specifically toleone-decyanide, or TDI, and methylene-diphenyl-decyanide, or MDI.

These are not substances you can whip up in the artisan workshop with natural ingredients.

They require multibillion-dollar coastal chemical refineries operating at blistering temperatures and extreme pressures.

You are essentially paying premium commercial real estate rates to store empty atmospheric space.

It's just a bunch of air trapped in foam.

Consequently, chemical plants do not produce massive reserves of TDI and MDI to sit around in tanks for a rainy day.

Raw chemicals are produced, pumped into specialized tanker trucks or pressurized rail cars, delivered to foam-pouring plants, mixed, cured into giant bread-like loaves called buns, sliced up and shoved into mattresses, covered almost immediately.

Um, he said he did a lot of head tal- [laughs] a lot of talking of the cylinder heads, and a lot of bad language.

But, uh, he took that and put a 200 TDI engine and box in it, rebuilt the body shell.

Um, did a load of work, and now he uses it every day, and he tows his, uh, classic tractors around with it.

So, um, another one that's daily driven.

Yeah.

So there's a few ways you can go around.

Basically what we're talking about is fitting a TDI radiator pack into a pre-TDI chassis.

So for those of the, for those of you listening, I have a 2000 Jetta TDI that I got for free [laughs].

And I've been driving it for the last, like, almost two years.

They're-

Of course ... awful.

And coupled with the TDI, even worse.

So bad.

So what we've been working on and doing, we're opening up...

We have a few adapter plates that we offer for Toyota transmissions, a couple manual transmissions, a W56, as well as the R150 transmission, and then a GM transmission that you can bolt up to a TDI.

That one, you know, pre-LS is what those automatic transmissions would be.

And we went ahead and opened up the spacing to fit more applicable years of those TDI engines.

So we should, we're covering up to 2012 on those now.

TD highs would be cool to chat about.

I think that's where the process can be extremely smooth.

It reminds me of my old, yeah, what was it, J-Reg 200 TDI station wagon when you've got, you know, people wanting to get in the back and then you still want to get in the tail door to load stuff in the back.

Then you have to make sure

they've locked the door the way

You know, the vent controls, you pull the little knob out and you open them that way rather than sliding it across.

they're just ergonomically a little bit more modern yeah but

they're still old electric windows that was the other thing I fixed the electric window which I think I spoke about on here before I also really like the cloth the techno cloth oh yeah county seats there's a lot about it that I do like I'm just not in love with it yet do you know what I mean whereas by the time I'd finished that doing the TDI conversion and retrimming the seats in the blue one and making it nice and you know usable

Yeah, so we had bought a TDI diesel Touareg, which is the same as the Cayenne and the A7 and all that.

And so I'd been talking to the organizer, and he said the last winter one they did, they had a diesel Cayenne that went, and they just left it running the entire rally.

They never turned the car off.

If you're new around here, you may not know that from 2008, mid-2008, June of 2008 until December of 2009, I did this show from a car.

Yeah, so 2006.5 Jetta Diesel TDI, where I was going down the road yelling at ass clowns on my 55-mile commute on a daily basis to the companies I was running up in Frisco, Texas, traveling there from Arlington.

It was the day before Christmas Eve of 2009 that I signed off of doing mobile podcasts.

I've done a few here and there for fun, but that's when we moved to a full-time show, and we've been doing that ever since.
