I guess for people that know me, I'm always trying to collect cards in Portuguese, especially from the pre-modern or old legacy cards.

And it's really hard for me to find Portuguese cards on TCG Player.

So the card market has a ton of inventory, of course, because they're in Europe.

So I basically have my whole... doomsday and uh like blue red things uh all in portuguese now after after johan brings the cards for me to pittsburgh nice yeah he sent me a shot the other day a picture like a doomsday in portuguese i was like oh my gosh i really want to have those because last time i cast a doomsday well i never cast them when i was younger because the card is unplayable in standard in mirage block or anything like that uh but last time i saw a doomsday in portuguese i was like 12 years old i think so like uh so i'm gonna i'm gonna be pretty happy that you're gonna cry when you see it Uh, probably shed a little tear.

or 80 trade-in so that 10 is actually the extra benefit for you to just buy stuff from them to where they they're getting you know come potentially a lower cut but it's immediately moving product that they already have right so so it's it's not double dipping and i think if you yeah you can't look at as as double dipping because it's not And losing 20%, you can't look at something as losing 20%, right? You would never get that 20%.

If you went and sold that card on TCG Player or eBay or whatever at that exact price that you want, market price, you're losing 15% off RIP from just selling it.

Then you have to ship it.

Right.

And anything above $50 on TCG player has to be shipped with tracking, which means you're spending, I think it's like six bucks now.

Yeah.

So you're shipping, you're, you're, you're losing money.

All those places that you're seeing the lower fees on generally are not going to be selling very quickly.

So some other stuff that showed up this past week, which is pretty interesting.

TCGplayer.com announced the charity tournament of TCGplayer versus Wizards of the Coast on September 16th at 1 p.m. Eastern.

TCGplayer and Wizards will face off in a first-of-its-kind competitive play magic charity tournament benefiting Magic Kids and Extra Life.

And TCGplayer and WotC have pledged to contribute to their respective charities.

Throughout the live stream, which this is what this is going to be, fans can bid through eBay Live on exclusive collectibles, artist-side memorabilia, and one-of-a-kind magic stuff, with the proceeds split evenly between those two entities.

If you're in America and you're buying from TCG Player and your singles prices for Sassana 1 have done what they've done over there, I'm so sorry.

Bad luck at tough times.

But if you're everywhere else where like market courses aren't speculative eBay fucking card flippers from whatnot or whatever, like I'm sure you'll have a much easier time buying your deck.

It's one that I have not had the opportunity to personally get in person.

Yeah, I could've went to TCG Player and spot it, but while we were there, there were vendors, and I was able to get this Pinocchio card that I really, really wanted.

And it goes back to m- my point of the casual player being the majority of your audience.

So you have the casual Disney fan or family that's coming in, or just first time TCG player coming in, where a lot of these products that you're now offering, a lot of these services and stuff that you are now offering, that's simply so you can raise shareholder prices, or you can reach a certain audience of people who can open their wallets a little bit deeper than others.

'Cause I tell you guys, between life in general, I, I feel we all give this game a lot of money.

That said, I remember we did this with Final Fantasy, and everyone said, "Oh, they'll just drop once the set comes out, for sure, right?" And then they went up $400.

So the Hobbit collector boxes are unopened, $875 on TCGplayer at the moment.

So I don't know if we wanna do predictions about where they're gonna be, but I would not predict a large drop.

It has not been gradual organic sales.

They've gone through a series of buyouts.

Um, and over the past two, three, four months, I've just been tracking them, um, in TCGplayer articles just jump tiers as they get progressively bought out more and more.
