And I talked to several people.

I talked to a couple that stayed two days at the casino, and they were from Tazewell, Virginia.

And the crazy thing was I know where Tazewell, Virginia is.

I couldn't believe it.

But it's always cool to interact with those kind of folks.

So there is a county in Southwest Virginia called Tazewell.

And if it wasn't for

Tazewell.

These days, you can get an answer from the internet, an influencer, or AI in seconds.

But with legal stuff, a quick answer is not the same as the right answer.

This little townie in the middle of the mountains out in the hollas, southwest Virginia, entered an injunction against the Democrats earlier this year.

Supreme Court ended up affirming this judge, and the Democrats' plans to steal four seats failed.

You know, I don't know.

I've seen two Dogman, and I didn't believe in those forever, but I seen the first one in Tazewell County, Virginia, and the last one in October of this 2022 with Martin Groves in the Land Between the Lakes.

And they do exist, and that's the only ones I've ever seen.

I've never seen an alien or anything like that, but I know those things exist and, um, I wouldn't be surprised if, uh, some type of creature is not taking these people.

Me and him talked for a little bit and he said, "Here's my address if you wanna come out there." He actually asked me if I wanted to follow him that day, and I had something I had to do and I couldn't do that, but I actually got his address and I drove out there.

And it was a good drive from where I was living then.

It was probably three hours, but it was in Tazewell, I think it's called Tazewell County.

I don't know the areas that well, uh, in Virginia, but I think pretty sure.

And I guess this guy apparently didn't have very many interviews or autobiographies written about him.

But what I can tell you is he was born December 22nd, 1907 in Tazewell, Virginia.

He graduated from the University of Kentucky and began his career in MGM's publicity department.

In 1929, he became assistant to the director King Vidor.

So I just always have had something going on throughout most of my adult life.

Additionally, I was the director of community development for the town of Tazewell, and the executive director of a Main Street revitalization nonprofit called Tazewell Today.

And during that time, my budget was $25,000, and that included my salary.

Mm-hmm.

We got a lot of notoriety for the things we were making happen in our community with only $25,000.

So it just sort of sharpened my skills in a lot of areas to layer all of that, to make all of that happen, and in 2021 struck out on my own doing consulting work.

Had gotten enough attention for what we'd accomplished in Tazewell to where other communities were reaching out and asking me to come and help them.

And so I started my own consulting practice and worked with communities in various states, Texas, Georgia, Wyoming, West Virginia, and a lot of communities in southwestern Virginia, which is where Tazewell is located-

We are over in the Back of the Dragon.

That runs from Marion, Virginia up to Tazewell, Virginia.

And there's the cool Back of the Dragon store, which also now has a restaurant and beer.

Not that I'm advocating beer and driving, but it's an option they have.
