Yeah, Greeny, it was a tough 24 hours for me to digest.

My first two text messages were actually shot to Adam Schefter and Rich Eisen to kind of break down what had taken place.

At the end of the day, here's the deal.

Was there a second? Was there not a second? I am not going to be the guy to come and convince the masses after I've shown so much bias on this show over Michigan that it should have happened.

I will defend Michigan in this way.

So, again, this is the biggest game of Bryce Underwood's career because if he plays badly, man, who knows the conversation that's going to be taking place next week.

Like, could we see Tommy Carr in this game on Saturday? Or do you think this is the Bryce Underwood show, and they're gonna live with whatever happens with him at that spot?

I mean, Gabe, you've done this, dude.

And I, I don't know, you were always, had so much success at Oklahoma, but the thought process of taking a kid, it's like, okay, we, we've seen a lot at camp that people have said Tommy Carr is a great football player.

But if Bryce Underwood goes in and struggles against Brent Venables' defense, which 95% of teams do when they, when they go against him, to an extent where he deserves to get benched, you're gonna put a freshman quarterback in who has been there, like was in high school this time last year, you know, playing on Fridays? You're gonna put him in against one of the best defenses in college? I don't, I think this is without a doubt a do or die situation for Bryce.

This is as most pr- the most pressure this kid's ever had in his entire life.

He was the number one overall recruit, highly regarded at like a, a freak when it comes to athletic ability.

But now it's like, this is, this is what happens when- You don't, you don't have the success that you have, you had your entire life.

Fair.

Tell me what's going through your mind and what you're going to do.

Yeah, you're just hoping there's an army behind you to help take care of what's about to take place.

These two guys by themselves, like what Myles Garrett did last year, setting a sack record on a team that was never up, that were terrible, always losing, and still was able to rush the passer probably less than a majority of other defensive ends in the NFL because their team was always down, and to get 23 sacks is absolutely incredible.

Aaron Donald, you see, he loves his Instagram post of him being in the weight room.

And if I had a physique like that, I would be doing the same thing.

So you can't fault the man for a couple of thirst traps here and there.

You put those two on the same side.

I think it's a great take to have this time in fall camp.

You look at what Dabo and last year the expectations of their season with their quarterback, they had a Joe Moore caliber offensive line.

They had NFL talent riddled all over, and they absolutely pissed down their leg the entire season.

So going into this year, Clemson fans need to realize what you were before Dabo Sweeney, how much he means to that program.

And then also, Dabo's doing a great job of having that be the conversation in their team meeting rooms.

Hey, guys, we're nobody.

Like, I was waiting for Danny O to just look at the camera and say, what big games did Jaden Daniels win? And I get the kid is a stud, and I love Josh Pate's analogy that his name is kind of tied to it because I feel like I've watched enough of Jaden Daniels to know it doesn't seem like he'd come off and say something like this.

So as an O-lineman, did you play in sort of both gap power and wide zone? So what's that transition like? Because it's the first time we're going to see it here.

It's very easy to go from power to spread as opposed to spread to power.

If we live in the world where everything we're seeing is true, you have to assume these next couple of weeks, and you were talking about this right after the Get Up show, is like, we're gonna live in a world where if, if that's all true, then if I'm Michigan it's, "What's our next move? Let's make this change as fast as possible." Because you're thinking about, you were the youngest team in the entire Big Ten last year, you went nine and three, you had a top 15 recruiting class, and January 2nd you have the transfer portal.

So, all of those things combined, I look at Michigan as, if they have the right structure in place from a coaching standpoint, the right coaches, assistant coaches, you can be a college football playoff contender next year.

And if you wanna get that done and not lose all your players, like, you need to move quickly and diligently.

But put the most important people, uh, from Michigan in a room and have, don't let them leave until they make a decision.

This can't be, uh, middle of January and now here's our new head coach.

Well, you know, half your guys have left.
