Taylor Heise

Uh, like, I ...

Taylor Heise kinda did the same thing in, in the world championship the year before, like, makes it look like, okay, we're gonna kinda regroup here, and, and kinda baits the change and sends one up, um, and finds Tessa Jaennecke in, in Czechia, and then she kinda did the same thing with, um, let's see if we can bait them into a change, and caught 'em, uh, with, you know, Megan Keller, which is crazy that Taylor Heise's back sending a stretch pass to a D.

Megan Keller, yeah.

[laughs] Yeah, how do you do that?

It never stops.

Meanwhile, on a personal level, you had a lot of attention.

I don't know if you knew this or not, this off season, getting married to a young lady named Taylor Heisey, now Taylor Fox.

How did you guys meet, first of all? Because obviously we know her success, gold medal winner, et cetera, et cetera.

We'll talk about her career path as well and and how you guys are making this all work, but

I feel like I've said it.

I'm a D, so I don't find myself up at the far blue line too often.

That's not where I'm at, but 3v3, everybody is playing everywhere, and changes are a huge part of three-on-three that we talked about in locker room before heading out into OT, and I just saw two Canadian girls change, and Took the opportunity to stretch up to the far blue and my teammate Taylor Heisey made a great pass.

And once I got the puck, I feel like everything went quiet and instincts took over.

Felt like I was playing pond hockey, you know, having a winter time with my brother again.
