Well, probably Taylor Goldsmith from Dawes is my go-to.

I went to a show, a Dawes show one time, and they were about to play one of their songs, and they brought up a few people from the audience and taught them the song in real time and had them play the song.

Somebody was on drums, somebody was on guitar, bass.

I mean, it was a selected group of musicians that T-Bone arrived at.

So we had Taylor Goldsmith from Doors, Jim James from Morning Jacket, Marcus Mumford from Mumford and Sons, and Rhiannon Giddens.

And we did 42 pieces of music in 12 days, 42 different settings.

You know, we had members, Marcus had arrived at the studio and he said, oh, two of my friends have come.

Yeah, yeah.

We noticed Taylor Goldsmith tucked away in the credits and Margo Price and-

Oh, yeah

... there's a few others in there who, people we've interviewed in the past that we-

Alongside his work with the band, he has also built his own solo career and appears on tracks by other artists such as Bright Eyes and M.

Ward, and even joined Elvis Costello, Marcus Mumford, Taylor Goldsmith, and Rhiannon Giddens to record The New Basement Tapes, a compilation of unfinished, unreleased songs by Bob Dylan.

With four studio albums and 10 with My Morning Jacket under his belt, Jim has always followed his curiosity, drawing from rock, folk, soul, and psychedelia.

He's never been afraid to experiment, and each project reveals a different shade of his artistry.

And he just really elevates that song.

And Taylor Goldsmith from Dawes really does some great guitar work on that song.

But we're just sort of about getting to that age now where people are starting to pass away.

I remember being a kid and hearing my parents talk about their parents are gone, or their friends that have passed away, and thinking how far away that felt.

This is Mumford and Sons guy.
