... and then obviously as Tavarua came online, um, he had access through the likes of Shay, uh, to get out there and, and start training.

And, but I was also hearing rumors, uh, that they're looking at privatizing the wave again.

Uh, they're looking to go back in with, uh, basically return it to the bad old days, uh, where Tavarua had, um, sole access to it.

Uh, so I don't know if you, did you hear any whispers of that?

that?Well, I haven't heard anything about that, but, um, mate, the way the world's going, like, it, it just is the least surprising thing you'd ever heard in your life.

I think back to back to have two contests this good is insane.

Uh, uh, the, the one difference is to me is goofy-footed domination at Cloudbreak.

I wanna mention Kelly Vost.

Kelly Vost had a wave where he did a fade to, like, low road that was low-key one of the coolest things I've ever seen in surfing.

So the waves of the stars.

Cloudbreak was phenomenal.

The waves were incredible.

It was a phenomenal event.

I was just there.

I was kind of blessed to go stay on Tavarua just before the event started.

So I had a cool little insight to how everyone was ripping and performing.

So that was really cool.

Yeah, it was great.

Tavarua is a lifesaver for me, but I did go, my friend and I, Troy went, 2001? I don't know when they opened it.

Right when they opened it up to other people.

And there was supposed to be 24 people from Hawaii going.
