Tartine Bakery

I'm like, oh my gosh.

It's the guy from Tartine in San Francisco.

So for people who don't know, in the baking world, in the food world, Tartine Bakery is like the OG of sourdough.

And so through those two people that I met, through one of them I met in 2019 at the Farms Market, five years later, here I am meeting the same people, but also the head baker, the owner of Tartine in San Francisco.

So it's just funny how the world works

out.

And so we like ate all over the city.

And I remember making a pilgrimage to Tartine Bakery, which at that point was still pretty new.

I think it had opened maybe a couple of years earlier.

And they make or they made at that time a really wonderful shortbread.
