And yeah, there's definitely a lot of plastic out there in the ocean, like it is such a global problem.

But in Australia, I think it's 1,480 kilos of plastic and rubbish enters Australian waterways every hour from what's just leaching out from our environment because we, the sort of like flip side of, if you think of the end of life as this, what's on our beaches, what's in our animals, probably the most heartbreaking moment filming was going to Taronga Zoo and going to their wildlife hospital and just having all these vials of like here's a sea turtle that died because of plastic, our plastic in its belly.

And just like that experience of just seeing the ramifications of inaction at the end of life, like when it sort of goes out to the environment, but sort of thinking about the whole life cycle of plastic, there is actually a bigger thing that we can do and that's to turn the tap off and the systems design and the legislation change we actually need from the federal and state level because that's going to help to stop everything sort of washing out.

And then if we can sort of improve the infrastructure, that's also going to be that last sort of resort as well.

and of course the platform's a lot emptier now at this point at least and then catch the train to Central and then from Central I catch the train to Wynyard which is the next station along the way from Milsons Point which is where I'm heading now and usually from Wynyard I'll catch a bus home at that time of night but I noticed that the from the schedules last buses had gone there was one more bus I could get which is the 100 usually I'm looking at catching the 182 or a 180, I think.

But this was a 100, which goes to Taronga Zoo, now Baizu.

It's the one last bus of the night, the Taronga Zoo.

And so, all right, I went and found the bus stop for that one, which is not my usual bus stop.

And as I was waiting, the timetable, the real-time timetable on my phone's like, yeah, this bus has just stopped reporting its location.

Because I have to tell you about something that happened yesterday, and I couldn't tell it on the show because we were at Taronga Zoo, and I may have offended the children.
