Taran Armstrong

Uh, Josh Bannan was a lot more active around the perimeter than he is usually, but was very effective with 22 points and 11 boards, including the bucket to force overtime.

I think we need to start talking about Taran Armstrong a little bit 'cause he's having a sneaky good year it must be said.

He had the assist for Bannan's game-tying bucket and came up clutch for the second game in a row.

29 points, four of seven from deep, and a huge three-point play in overtime to seal the game.

So we know Scott Roth coached teams like to slow games down, but they really pushed the tempo, and I think that caught the Bullets a bit off guard because when you do a scout, you know what to expect, and when they change-- when the opposition changes something up, your whole plan gets thrown out the window, and I think that's what ultimately led to the Jackjumpers winning this game.

Um, so what I did notice as well is Scott Roth in both games this round was not leading the way in timeouts on the final play of regulation.

We saw in the game against Melbourne United just before, um, Taran Armstrong's game-winning bucket, he wasn't the one drawing up the play.

He left it to his assistant coach.

You've got PJC.

You've got Cole Anthony, Karen Armstrong.

Like, wow, this is going to be fun.

And we've got Brandon Knight coming in as well.

But the aforementioned pieces went through a significant injury crisis as they limped to a sixth place finish and a 14 and 19 record.

Taran Armstrong, Ben Gold, Dakota Mathias, and Jed Richardson come in.

Tiger Campbell, Sean McDonald, Brodie Nunn, Koby Williamson, Archie Woodhill, and Jacob R- Wi- Richards exit the team.

They've been so unlucky the last two seasons with regards to injury.

They ha- added a local flavor as well, while adding firepower off the bench.

It feels like we say this every season though, but Tasmania are a real dark horse this season, but that's exactly how they like it.

Taran Armstrong is a huge get, don't get me wrong.

He returns to his home state after a brief stint with the Golden State Warriors and Dubai basketball, where he didn't get as much playing time as he would've liked.
