These I call point one percenters.

And it is these red complex, this porphyromonas gingivalis, this treponema denticola, this Tannerella forsythia.

And even some of these purple really aggressive we call AA or F. nucleatum, they can really survive in these harsh chemicals like Dr. Almaei was saying.

We don't wanna sterilize and kill, kill, kill.

And now all of a sudden, how is the sixteen-year-old acting? Yeah, I don't even wanna admit it, right? I hear swearing and words that I don't want coming out of my sixteen-year-old mouth.

But in that environment, he's behaving very badly.

This is what those red complex, these very aggressive that you're talking about, this P. gingivalis, this treponema, this Tannerella, they then are controlling these lower level species, making them act very aggressive.

So testing and knowing if they're there is so important because you are in dysbiosis, but they are controlling how those other species are acting and responding, and that can drive disease, what we're talking about just in the mouth itself at a very, very high rate.
