Tanner Koziol

And I think, you know, you gotta take steps in anything you do, you know, and it's not just about Travis Hunter.

It's just, you know, let's look at a different player, for example, okay, like Tanner Koziol.

Okay, what are the steps to get Tanner Koziel on the field? Well, he has to show that he's gonna be better than some of the other options or that he's got a unique skillset.

And there are steps that everybody has to take to earn that role or to earn that job, so to speak, on offense or defense.

We saw flashes of that in the opener against Oregon State, once again here.

It sounds a little wild to say that you upgraded from Tanner Koziol, an NFL-drafted tight end who was indispensable to the 2025 Cougar offense.

I'm not out and out saying it, but Overmyer has been...

Very good in the pass game for Wigman, and I believe does the blocking parts of his job better than Koziel did, as great as he was as a receiver.
