So I think the secondary is starting to give me a little bit more confidence in playing to the level, Joey, that we expected them to play.

Yeah, with the secondary, Heckel just, I mean, Resetich was struggling.

Heckel gives you just a different coverage ability, right? A different person who can play coverage back there.

Felt like at times with Resetich at that deep safety, that free safety position, like you were playing with two chiefs, which is what Matthew Bailey is.

I thought we talked about him potentially being and likely being the backup to Matt Bailey.

You've got to find someone to pay on that other end here, and is that going to be Jaquan Morris? Is that going to be Nick Hankins? Is that going to be Elmerion Thomas? It's more likely it's going to be some combination of the three, but you've got to have one of those three or two of those three guys step up to give you – yeah, Morris has got to step up and give you that, hey, you can play this.

We don't have to worry about heavy rotation.

But they still got players, and they're still a good defense in the Big Ten.

The other thing that happened in that secondary, Tanner Heckel replaced Matt Krasetic in that second half.

And I don't want to absolutely bury Matt Krasetic, but he has not played very well.

later but what about personnel change in the secondary in particular i'm still i don't know if you've got this at another point that you want to talk about but i'm stuck on seeing tanner heckle at that free safety position at michigan state and wondering if they're going to go back to that more probably i would assume maybe depends on where taiwan cox is physically are we which he wasn't on the injury report he was not on the injury report that's right Are we about running out of steam on continuing to talk about Nick Hankins every Thursday on this? We just haven't seen that breakthrough in snaps to this point.

I'm not trying to write Nick Hankins, but at some point, do we have to just parse down our conversation for that second corner to Tanner Heckel, Tywon Cox, or Jaquan Morris? Is that kind of where we're at now? I

I think he needs to be on the field more, whether that's the second corner spot or at free safety, because Matt Krasetic obviously has struggled.
