On May 19th, 2017, Amanda Hunter had just finished her shift at the leasing office of the Hamptons of Tampa Palms.

It was just before 5:30 PM that a man walked into the office and calmly told her that he had killed two people.

From there, the man left the office and walked to a nearby commercial building where he entered a marijuana dispensary and held the employees and customers hostage.

They would hang out laughing and playing video games, but other times, Jeremy and Andrew in particular liked to poke fun at Devon's newfound religion.

On May 19th, 2017, Devon's anger over a variety of things reached a precipice, and when Jeremy started insulting his Quran, it pushed him over the edge.

At just before 5:30 PM, Devon walked into the leasing office at the Hamptons of Tampa Palms and announced that he had just killed two people.

Then he left and walked to a nearby commercial area.
