If you are touching one of the half-kizayim, or both of them at the same time, but they're separate, both opinions agree that you're tahor, you're pure, because they are not one kizayim together.

Now, the simple reading of this, of the Mahloket, is that Rabbi Yishmael says that the skin does not nullify the flesh, and therefore in the case of carrying it, you become Tamei.

Rabbi Rekevah says the skin does nullify the flesh, and therefore when you carry it, we don't give any significance to the flesh, and you stay Tahor.

So with that, we can now read on in the Gemara and challenge Rav Filna.

Rabbi Yehuda says, if there's a gazayit of flesh on the skin, it's Tamei with the Nevela.

And Rav Hunek clarifies, Rabbi Yehuda means, that this is only if you proactively join these small pieces of flesh together to one gazayit.

I'd say tame is not the same as domesticated, you know? Yeah.

Tame can fluctuate.

Domesticated is a long process.
