Mm-hmm.
12:14
So draw a picture, write a sentence, what was your superpower? Could be your hands.
12:19
Could be because you brought the tea, could be your eyes because you saw that your mom was tired.
12:24
And then the next day, and the next day.
12:27
And I see it as dropping pebbles into a pond that creates a small ripple, then it gets bigger and bigger because of the compound effect of you making your child feel like he can make a difference is the tidal wave that eventually will build this unshakeable inner confidence of their, what they believe, their sense of value, and their confidence that they can make things happen.
12:57
Then think about the ripple effect of that one child in the social group that he comes in contact with, because human beings are attracted to positive energy.
13:08
So this child, the tidal wave of course, or the ripples, one of them is positive energy about self, self-image, right? So, people lean into positive energy, so now he can also affect the people around him without saying anything, just energetically, right? And then the other thing is also that it is the best protection you can give your child against the crazy stuff that's happening in the world.

This is your story, so you-
11:54
That's my story.
11:56
Uh, well, I've talked about this on other podcasts.
12:00
I hope that I'm not repeating myself too much to your audience, but I kind of stumbled into homeschooling, uh, unintentionally.
12:09
I heard about homeschooling when my oldest was, um, maybe 10, 8 or 10 months old, and it was somebody at church.
12:16
And- The first question I had for her when she said she was homeschooling her girls was, "Were you a teacher?" And of course, her answer was yes.
12:25
So I'm like, "Oh, of course, then you can homeschool." Um, fast-forward to another time about a year later when I was in conversation with a different homeschooler, and she told me that she had taught her son how to read when he was 10 months old.
