Tales from the Crypt

It's one of the anthology films.

I think it's an Abacus film, and it's the one which, I think it's one of their Tales from the Crypt.

They, they had the right to do kinda like EC inspired.

EC was a comic company, EC inspired, um, movies, and that's the one that's got Joan Collins playing a, a glamorous woman who's killed her husband on Christmas Eve.

Okay, let's go back to 1972.

We're looking at a British anthology film called Tales From the Crypt.

Mm-hmm.

Now, immediately we have to clear the air because when most people hear Tales From the Crypt, they instantly think of the HBO television show from the '90s, right?

Oh, absolutely.

The animatronic puppet Crypt Keeper, the horrible puns, that whole neon green slime aesthetic.

Right.

The film adapted stories directly from EC Comics, specifically three of their flagship titles.

Yeah, so we're starting off strong with Anthology.

I picked the original movie, Tales from the Crypt, which is from 1972.

I started watching and had watched, I think, the first two stories in it, and then unfortunately fell asleep.

But the first two stories are awesome, and I'm very excited to finish it.
