Donald WandaHOST

and he says it when you when the film opens he said that's what you're going to do so it's just a bit of fun it's not it's just technically his first directed movie but he never made the original movie that it's based off and the movie it's just a farce it's funny and he had fun with it but you know after that he wanted to make his first real movie take the money and run which even though it's his first movie still one of his all-time best i think it's in my top 10 woody allen movies as well i love taking my new one

As a genre, the films of Buster Keaton and the Marx Brothers and Woody Allen before he started doing serious films, when he did Take the Money and Run and Bananas and Sleeper, the absurdist comedy of those films had a big influence on me.

And And then there was a series of really silly movies, English movies, called the Carry On series.
Costa DillonGUEST

And they're just full of really awful puns and terrible broad acting and so forth.
