But on a lot of cars, and going all the way back to the turn of the century, it's the year 2000 and up, and even before that a little bit, some of these have amazingly defective airbags, Takata airbags.

And I think that you could make this part of a Cash for Clunkers 2.0 program.

Where if you have a car that has a Dakota airbag, you might get an extra thousand dollars.

But if you, you went out and said, look, if you trade it in, we'll give you 3,500 bucks.

If it's got an open recall on it, we'll give you an extra grand, you know, and maybe, maybe the figures would need to be different.

But if somebody said you could get extra money for trading in a car, it's got a shit Takata airbag in it.

you'd fucking check it out, wouldn't you? I think so.

So again, this is not to say mistakes don't happen, but you know, just a little bit of insight on how Honda handles all those things, including making mistakes, including issues which sometimes take years, you know, to fix.

I mean, remember Takata airbags, you know, and, and, and stuff like that? Uh, shit happens.

You got, you got a deep pull there with the Takata.

You gotta, you gotta still clean up, uh, whatever messes you make, and, uh, they're well aware of that.

And that is the rear view camera.

Just like Takata airbag was systemic, there was a bad mixture of chemicals that caused over time for the explosive power in those airbags to get more powerful.

So how dangerous is the risk and what should owners do if you think your car is effective? Now, the recall itself we know is not new, but it remains the largest automotive safety recall in history.
