Tajiri

That was Johnny Gargano, Rich Swann, and Tommaso Ciampa having been part of NXT.

And Yoshihiro Tajiri rejoined WWE after the tournament but left when the company wouldn't use him following a knee injury.

The Cruiserweight Classic was at first an unmitigated success for the WWE.

The series itself remains some of the most inspired programming that the company has ever produced.

You've earned your riches, unlike nepo baby Vince.

Tajiri overhears this and runs off to tell the actual Vince because heel's going to stick together or something.

And as a result, Jamie has to face Tajiri tonight.

So now, whenever Vince is not on the screen and Steph's not on the screen, we're going to be going, where's Vince and Steph? Where's Vince? Where's Vince and Steph? But I did like Tajiri kissing Vince's arse because he's a heel now.

Let's do something.

That I liked, but it's just like we move on for three seconds.

No.

So we do get Jamie Nolan versus Tajiri though, which I'm not going to complain about.

I've seen Muta use the mist.

I've seen Tajiri use the mist.

You know what I mean? This is a, it's become a tradition in the world of professional wrestling, but I've never seen anybody sort of And you know, there is lore behind all the mist when it comes to like the colors.

Yes.

Um, like I said, in my notes here, lots of culturally inappropriate costumes.

I did like the Tajiri walked up to a Marilyn Monroe at the bar and

Yeah, he was interested until he found out it was Mae

Young.

We haven't seen Vince in a very long time.

Yeah.

Match number four was Matt Hardy versus Tajiri.

Weekly Matt facts.

Uh, maybe it's just an idea that's just thrown out there.

Um, what else came from Halloween havoc or from fall brawl? Um, On our last episode, we kind of teased the idea of maybe having Sugar Shane defend the Cruiserweight title in some kind of car crash of a ladder match at Halloween Havoc with the likes of Mysterio, Kidman, even some of the ECW guys, Tajiri, Super Crazy, maybe even calling his shot, anybody from any promotion, kind of putting the title up.

It's just an idea.

Here's a match.

Yeah, he's kind of slithering away and escaping as the champion.

Shit like that.

And then eventually maybe he tangles with one of the ECW guys like Super Crazy or Tajiri.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

No.

Who is she with again? Tajiri? She is with Tajiri.

That's

right.

So Edge wins, though, and is, again, the Intercontinental Champion.

Yeah.

And then we get the Dudley boys defending the tag titles against the Big Show and Tajiri.

Oh, yeah.
