Tai Lopez

It just started seem like stuff really wasn't for me.

So the first inkling of getting into entrepreneurship was I came across Tai Lopez.

Um, and he had this course, 67 steps to health, wealth, love, happiness.

And I was having like a bad day.

And that kind of started being more entrepreneurial because it was like now there's no guarantees.

I have to go get it every day, you know.

And then from there, I just that was still kind of a no man's land with my entrepreneur stuff, because I was at that time about Tai Lopez's social media marketing agency course.

So I was trying to get some clients and I between 2017 and 2020, I might've got like two or three social media clients where I was just posting their content in a month coming up with content, but very little bit of money.

you remember the, like, they use their cars and the ads in like the, um, Tai Lopez.

Tai Lopez, man.

Yeah, dude.

Tai Lopez, like one of the first courses I ever bought.

I did that course too.

Yeah.

I'm just like, who are these people? Everyone's going nuts.

Like, oh my gosh, it's Tai Lopez, it's Russell Brunson.

I'm like, I've never heard of one of these people.

Like, who are they? Are they movie stars? Are they athletes? I don't know.

I was around long before Homozy was there.

I was along way before Tai Lopez.

And that guy's gone into a horde of shit.

I was there at the same time Grant Cardone started.

So before I retired, I was doing a lot of researching, working with online mentors.

And one of my online mentors, Tai Lopez, said that if you want to create a business, you should create a business from your unique experiences.

So I'm thinking at the time, what can I do with telecommunications? I think my unique experience was becoming a business owner and working with my wife.

So that's what we did.

We became business consultants and we became the people who we needed back when we had our brick and mortar businesses.

So that was someone who actually experienced the journey and lived it.

They kind of spoke to what we needed.

So we became that.

Uh, okay.

Uh, Tai Lopez.

Oh, I love that guy.

Uh, Lamborghini.

Well, so you started in Lifetime Fitness.

How did you, why did you even get into the marketing game? Was there someone that influenced you? Do you take, like, Tai Lopez? Like, what, what, what kind of guy are you?

Dude, I actually ran ads before.

So in 2015, '14, '15, I was in my dorm room or in, like, an apartment in college, and I was running ads.

[clears throat] I did an event 2025, twice in 2025.

I called it the Creators Conference, and I had some of my friends, pretty big names from Dean Graziosi, Tai Lopez, many, many friends that I've had on the podcast that I said, "Hey, let's talk about being a creator." Now, this was back in January 2025, and then I think I did it again April of 2025.

So AI was nowhere near where we see it today.

Yep.

And I rolled that into the next handful of different clients that ended up taking on.

Tai Lopez was one of them.

Timothy Sykes who's the penny stock trader guy he had a deal with Agora so I did some work with them worked with Dave Meltzer a little bit who's the I don't know if he still runs Sports One Media or not but he's been a pretty big player in the space for a long time and It just kind of snowballed in that direction where I started working for some of the bigger names in the industry.

And it just happened because I was willing to do some research, figure out who do these people know, like and trust, do some good work for those people for free, not ask anything in return.
