Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy

My name is Mike Yemhana.

Today on this series, I'm joined by Mai El Sadany, who is the executive director of the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy.

Um, we are gonna be talking about human rights and journalists and what TIMEP does.

Um, Mai, welcome to the series.

Thanks for having me.

It's great to be here.

Maybe let's start with just, like, if you were to describe what TIMEP does to somebody you met, like, over at a coffee shop to, like, the cousin of your cousin, whatever.

How would you describe what TIMEP does just to, like, center the conversation?
