Tad Robinson

It was the work of a seasoned musician who'd already appeared on more than 35 releases over nearly 20 years.

Alex had played with William Clark, Rod Piazza, Lester Butler, Tad Robinson, Linwood Slim, and a who's who of blues royalty.

He'd been the side man and the secret weapon, the guy who made every band sound better.

So when he finally stepped in with his first solo album, he did it with a great deal of intent.

He plays like someone who understands that the magic of this music lies in the spaces between the notes.

And what a band it is.

You've got Linwood Slim, Tad Robinson, and Phines Tasby sharing vocal duties.

Three singers with completely different emotional palettes.
