And in fact, there's an interesting book by Tad Devine, who was Bernie Sanders', um, 2016 campaign manager, the title of which is How the Democrats Screwed Bernie.

Um, and what Devine says in that book is that they, the Democrats, trusted the judgment of party establishment more than they trusted the voters, and they misread what was happening in the electorate.

Devine believes that Sanders would have beaten Trump or had a much better chance of beating Trump than Hillary.
