But we figured it needed a different name.

And we could not think of a name.

So we finally said, screw it, we're going to call it Tabula Rasa.

And so it was basically a continuation of of that group.

And where did the name Rasa come from?

Uh, it came from the saying tabula rasa, 'cause-

... yeah, in Latin that means blank slate.

And so we thought, okay, blank slate, that's a cool name.

It's all of our first restaurant.

Let's call it Tabula Rasa.

Then we were actually doing a catering event for the gentleman who started Sunquest Vacations, so obviously a very smart businessman, business person.

Truly, what a moment to have saved in MTV history.

But a really apparently iconic moment, and I have to admit that I am not checked into this area of pop culture, but Michelle performed Goodbye to You Live on Buffy the Vampire Slayer in season six, episode eight, Tabula Rasa was apparently the name of the episode.

I've never seen Buffy, so excuse me for my ignorance, but in my- I think it's Tabula.

Tabula Rasa.

Does that mean like blank slate? That sounds good.

I thought that last night watching it, too.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Spike's suit is the Randy suit from Tabula Rasa.

These are the best critics of modernity, of technology, of speed, of a lack of roots, and saying that, no, actually, humanity is a rooted species.

Tabula rasa is a lie.

We cannot endlessly redefine our conditions and be happy.

That's not who we are.

We're so used to thinking that babies in particular Even up to like, I don't know what, age six months, nine months, 12 months.

They're like tabula rasa.

They're just empty, empty slates, blank slates that we're like imprinting the world on.

I'm picked these two assets that I think are gonna work, obviously Bitcoin, and to a lesser extent XRP, and I'm a blank slate.

You know, and that was it.

So what are you trying to do? Oh, yeah, they're literally trying to essentially vanquish this country and to reconstitute, to rebuild a new country, to start a new culture anew.

Tabula rasa, clean slate.

Get rid of that whole Anglo inheritance, that whole Protestant work ethic.

You know, all these things we inherited, all these things that built this country.
